Job Summary:

To coordinate the department’s sales activities, support team members through secretarial and office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• To achieve sales targets allocated by Manager of Sales & Marketing
• Able to effectively cover the market according to territory and types of customers allocated by Sales Manager, namely corporate clients, clubs and associations and et cetera.
• To uncover leads for Banquet Event Order (B.E.O) involved in managing and coordinating all aspect of banquet events from planning to execute and post event follow up.
• To build strong rapport with key accounts by providing efficient service. Accountability, personalized service and cordial business relationship are key provision towards achieving strong Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• To seek and maintain ongoing contact with active accounts to promote repeat business and customer loyalty. Assisting the Sales Manager with “Repeat Guest” initiatives.
• To ensure reports requested by Sales Manager are properly prepared and submitted on time.
• Assisting in the development of sales and promotion market plan.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management / Marketing or equivalent.
• Min 1-2 years working experience and well knowledge in Sales & Marketing Division preferably in the Hotel Industry and experienced closing sales above RM 100,000.00.
• Computer literate and possess good communication and written skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well groomed, good in personality and presentable, organizational, independent, detail-oriented & high level of integrity.
• Convenient to travel as well as work in outdoor setting.
• Able to assist during event & long hours when needed.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Normal working hours, 5.5days/week.
