Jawatan Kosong Internship- Visual Merchandising in Taman Ismail

Job Summary:

  • We Looking for Visual Merchandising Intern to support Naelofar's VM team in gearing up for the upcoming festive season. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in VM planning, execution, and store operations in a fast- paced, dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Planning

  • Assist in developing visual merchandising concepts for the festive season, ensuring alignment with Naelofar's brand aesthethic.
  • Collaborate with the VM team to plan product displays, zoning, and festive decorations.
  • Help organize a timeline for store touch-ups and campaign execution across all Naelofar locations.
  • Prepare materials like mood board, display guides, and store layout plans for the team.

2) Production

  • Support the team in sourcing, organizing ,and preparing props, signage, and display materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of festive materials.
  • Assist om assembling and pre-arranging festive window displays and in-store setups before store visits.

3) Store Visits

  • Accompany the VM team on scheduled store visits to implement displays, festive props, and product arrangements.
  • Help style mannequins, coordinate product placement, and ensure overall visual cohesion in stores.
  • work closely with store staff to explain display concepts and provide guidance for maintenance.

4) Auditing

  • Conduct visual merchandising audits by comparing store execution to the VM guidelines.
  • Doument discrepancies and areas for improvement, providing suggestions to ensure alignment with the festive concept.
  • Take photographs of displays for reference and reporting.

5) Store Touch-Up

  • Assist in refreshing and touching up displays to maintain store presentation through out the festive period.
  • Replace outdated props or damanged display items.
  • Ensure store visuals remain neat, clean, and inviting to customers.

6) Store Reporting

  • Prepare detailed reports post-store visits, including photos, observations, and execution feedback.
  • Compile feedback from store managers and VM teams for improvements.
  • Track festive display progress across all Naelofar stores to ensure consistency.

7) Handling Paperwork

  • Support the VM team with documentation, including checklist updates, display guidelines, and festive campaign timelines.
  • Assist in organizing inventory lists for VM props and festive materials.
  • Manage store visit schedules and ensure necessary paperwork (report, plans) are ready for each visit.

Requirements:

  • Passion for visual merchandising, retail, and creative design.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of retail store layouts and visual concepts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustation/ Photoshop, Mocrosoft Office( Word,Excel and Power Point).

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM500.00 per month
