Jawatan Kosong BO Chargeman 33kv in Pasir

Position: Chargeman BO (33kV)
Location: Cypark Solar Farm, Danau Tok Uban, Kelantan

Job Summary

The Chargeman BO is responsible to lead and supervise the Electrical Maintenance Section at the Solar Farm, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment up to 33kV. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring maintenance activities in compliance with statutory requirements, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations, and company standards to ensure uninterrupted solar power generation.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance & Operations

• Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities at the Solar Farm, including 33kV switchyard, step-up transformers, inverters, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with ST regulations, company safety policies, and maintenance procedures.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of solar farm electrical systems to maintain optimal reliability and performance.
• Oversee operations of the High Voltage (HV) substation, switchgear, and associated protection relays.

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for inverters, transformers, switchgear, and solar-related electrical systems.
• Analyze faults and recurring issues, provide engineering solutions, and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance.
• Ensure maintenance records and reporting are accurate, updated, and in compliance with audit requirements.

3. Safety, Compliance & Risk Control

• Enforce electrical safety procedures and safe work practices, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO).
• Initiate and update Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control (HIRAC), Work Instructions, and Electrical Procedures.
• Ensure proper safekeeping, calibration, and inventory of tools, test equipment, and PPE.

4. Outage & Project Coordination

• Plan and manage scheduled shutdowns or outages, including manpower, work scheduling, coordination with contractors, and technical reporting.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal teams during maintenance and project execution.
• Support solar plant improvement projects, upgrades, or expansions by providing technical input.

5. Contractor & Asset Management

• Supervise contractors in carrying out electrical and associated maintenance tasks.
• Manage spare parts inventory, consumables, and optimize procurement for electrical systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, review tenders, and manage service contracts for outsourced works.

Qualification & Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Chargeman BO (33kV) certification issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical maintenance of power generation facilities, preferably solar farms, substations, or power plants.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, inverters, and protection relays.
• Familiar with statutory requirements, ST regulations, and industry standards for HV operations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, supervisory, and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
