Jawatan Kosong Senior Manager, Investment and Financial Risk in Damansara

About the Role:

We are representing a client in search of a talented and experienced Senior Manager, Investment and Financial Risk. The successful candidate will provide independent oversight and insightful challenge to investment, financial management, and advisory activities. This role involves assisting other departments with innovative risk-resolutions and being a subject matter expert primarily responsible for investment and financial risk oversight, risk analytics, risk governance, and risk reporting for investment and financial portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, recommend, and enhance investment and financial risk management policies and procedures as part of the company’s global risk management framework.
• Participate in and/or coordinate process improvement projects, CAPEX, and facilitate investment proposal risk assessments in collaboration with relevant team leads.
• Perform in-depth risk budgeting and capital adequacy analysis for the company’s property investments.
• Develop and maintain risk models and reports.
• Stay current with industry developments and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and research emerging risks and trends in the industry and advise management where appropriate.

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Architecture, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in investment and financial risk management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and maintain risk models and reports.
• Excellent understanding of risk budgeting and capital adequacy analysis.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory requirements.
• Strong research skills to analyze and identify emerging risks and trends in the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
