KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, plan, and supervise all design activities and project pipelines to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Review and approve design proposals, technical drawings, material selections, and project deliverables.
• Translate client requirements into design strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure design feasibility, constructability, and cost alignment.
• Participate in key meetings and presentations with clients, consultants, and developers when required.
• Guide and supervise Senior Designers and Designers, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely performance.
• Resolve design-related issues that arise during production or on-site execution.
• Evaluate and propose improvements in design standards, materials, and work processes.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on material sourcing, specifications, and new product innovations.
• Conduct site visits to review implementation and ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.
• Prepare progress reports and design documentation for management review.
• Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design, including experience in leading design teams or managing projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating completed residential and/or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor designers and detailers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Knowledge of modular systems, joinery, and carpentry production drawings is an advantage.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to design excellence, technical accuracy, and innovation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
